The schefflera houseplant, also called “umbrella trees,” are popular houseplants that can flourish for years with the right care. The Schefflera Amate is an easy-going and fast growing houseplant.
Plant is in 10′ Nursery Pot. Choose to come with black and woven basket as shown (with drip tray inside), or in Nursery pot only.
Water: Low-Medium
Water schefflera when the top of the potting mix dries out. Its tolerance of dry soil is one of the factors that has made it a popular indoor plant for so long.
Sunlight: Bright Indirect – Medium
Schefflera plants are medium light plants, which means that they need bright but indirect light. A common complaint about schefflera plants is that they get leggy and floppy. This problem is caused by too little light. Avoid direct sunlight – it will burn leaves.
Placement: Because it’s so tolerant, schefflera makes a good choice for living, dining, family, and bedrooms. They make fine office plants under artificial light, but growth will slow down significantly if stuck in a dark corner
