4″ Polka Dot Plant White

A perfect speckled holiday plant! These colourful, compact plants make an interesting contrast to other plants in your plant collection. Polka Dot Plant shows off red, pink, or white leaves marked with splashes of dark green. It’s also commonly referred to as the Freckle Face Plant.

Water: Medium. Water when the top ½ inch of soil dried out. Prefers moist soil but not soggy. If it dries out too much, it will begin to wilt and keel over. It will quickly spring back to life when you water again. This plant loves humidity. Mist regularly.

Sunlight: Bright to Medium. Will tolerate some direct sun, as well as low light. However, too much light or too little light causes the colours in the leaves of this plant to fade.

Placement: Will do well in the humidity of a kitchen or bathroom. Place polka dot plant a couple of feet away from an unobstructed southern or eastern exposure window.

Plant Parent Care Tips:

• Provide bright, indirect light for your polkas. Growing it in low-light spots for extended periods will cause it to grow tall and lanky.
• If a polka dot plant gets too tall, you can prune it back at any time. A little haircut helps keep polka dot plant a small and bushy houseplant. 
• Grouping several polka dot plants around each other helps increase the relative humidity, creating a microclimate for your polkas.

Pets: Non-toxic, but will provide mild stomach upset if large quantities are ingested.
