One of the most famous houseplants and for good reason! This easy to care for plant adds a lush, tropical feel to your space. As this plant matures, its stem thickens and the lower leaves drop, becoming statuesque small trees.
Placement: This plant will thrive in a spot that receives bright ambient light. The plants will live and thrive in lower light, but the growth might slow down. Because dieffenbachia grows upright, it’s an excellent choice to grow along an empty wall or near a large piece of furniture.
Pets: Not safe for pets, Dieffenbachia have a toxic sap that can cause the tongue to swell, giving the plant its nickname, “Dumb Cane”.
