Emerald Queen fern displays upright fronds with slight arch showing an overall softer appearance than other ferns in its family. Unlike Boston ferns, Emerald Queen is more compact, tidier, and easier to care for.T he Emerald Queen Fern is sometimes referred to as an Australian sword fern and is well known for its ability to help purify the air by reducing indoor toxins.
Water: Medium. Allow the top 2-3” of soil to dry out before watering. The fronds will become pale when water is needed. Crispy brown fronds, especially in the centre may indicate overwatering.
Sunlight: Medium to bright light.
Placement: This fern is a great vertical accent plant because it wisely utilizes space wherever you put it. Looks great in hanging baskets too! Keep away from drafty area in your home or office.
