A long-time favourite for beginning green thumbs and experienced plant parents alike! Peace lily is an adaptable and low-maintenance houseplant, and are not true lilies at all, but rather a member of the Araceae family. Their flowers resemble calla lily and is the reason for its name. There are a wide variety of sizes and types of peace lilies, and they can grow to be stunning and large floor plants.
Plant comes in a 6″ nursery pot, with woven basket with dish. *Plants are in bloom*
Water: Medium. Keep the soil moist, but do not overwater. Peace lilies can tolerate short periods of dry soil, but their leaves will start to brown if neglected for too long.
Sunlight: Low. Peace lilies prefer light partial shade, and can tolerate fluorescent lights. In fact, some have been known to thrive in rooms with no windows at all.
Placement: Consider placing the plant six to eight feet away from a north- or west-facing window.
Pets: Not Pet Friendly!
