Ficus Audrey (6″)
The Ficus Audrey is more forgiving than its relative, the Fiddle Leaf Fig. The Ficus “Audrey” (Ficus benghalensis) has striking deep green velvet leaves and a white trunk that thickens as the plant matures. Care for the Ficus Audrey is simple for a ficus: it appreciates bright, indirect light and regular waterings with a dry-out period in between, similar to its close relative the Rubber Plant.
It will do best directly in front of an east-facing window or 5’-10 away from a south or west-facing window. It does not like to be subjected to direct sun and can burn if in direct contact for too long.
Placement: Choose an area that isn’t directly in line with an exterior door, drafty window or near an air vent. Choose a bright room, close to the window but not in direct light.
Pets: Not Pet Friendly.
