Well, one of the most unique varieties of the ‘snake plant’ as it is so often called, is that of the Sansevieria Masoniana, which is also referred to as the Whale Fin plant.

Water: Low It is tough to underwater this hardy houseplant. Water snake plant when the top inch or so of the soil dries. Take care not to overwater it — allow the top inch of the potting mix to dry in between waterings
Sunlight: Bright to Low. They can also withstand full sun. In brighter natural light they’ll grow faster and slower in lower light.
Placement: Grow snake plant in just about any room of your home.
Pets & Kids: Sansevierias are mildly toxic to pets and humans.
