String of Dolphin Hanging Basket – 6″
Also known as Dolphin Necklace, this semi-rare succulent looks like dolphins that trail down thin stems. This unique formation is thanks to the cross-pollination of two plant variants, the Senecio Roweleyanus (string of pearls) and Senecio Articulates (hot dog or candle plant).
The dolphin succulent can grow up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall and maintains its shape as it grows. Eventually, you will have an entire ocean of jumping dolphins! Expect small stars like white and pink flowers that smell like cinnamon in the fall. The dolphin succulent requires relatively low maintenance and should be an easy plant for beginners to master.
Sun: Bright indirect. Thanks to their leaf windows they can tolerate slightly less light than some non-green succulent varieties.
Water: Low. Dolphin succulents shouldn’t be watered too often. When watering, bear in mind that like most succulents, dolphin succulents are tolerant of periods of drought.
Pets: Toxic for pets
